our client is end-to-end solutions provider engaged in process design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and supply of a variety of precision products and assemblies. We are capable of diverse and critical manufacturing and finishing processes, including machined castings, die castings, machined forgings, bar route machining, plate machining, surface treatment, heat treatment, critical assembly, as well as ancillary activities such as end of line testing, export packing and warehousing, which helps us provide end-to-end solutions for our customer requirements.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Closing:
  1. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls during the closing process.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  1. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  2. Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial performance versus budget, prior periods, and forecasts.
  3. Support the CFO in financial decision-making by providing insights into business performance, trends, and projections.
  • Management Reporting:
  1. Prepare and present regular management reports highlighting financial performance, key business metrics, and forecasts.
  2. Develop customized financial reports for senior management to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  3. Drive performance analysis and suggest actions to improve financial outcomes based on data-driven insights.
  • Business Partnering:
  1. Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, etc.) to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  2. Assist in modelling financial for new business initiatives, investments, or capital projects.
  3. Collaborate with business leaders to refine financial strategies and operational plans.
  • Continuous Improvement and Automation:
  1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the FP&A function.
  2. Work on automating routine financial reporting tasks using Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling tools.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls:
  1. Ensure all financial planning and reporting processes comply with corporate policies and local regulations.
  2. Support audits and ensure accurate documentation and support for financial statements.
Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with  Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Skills:
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Financial Reporting Expertise: Strong understanding of financial closing processes, P&L statements, and management reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify financial risks and opportunities and provide solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all financial data.
