Role and Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed Assets.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures with accuracy and discipline.
Maintain and improve internal control systems and ensure all accounting practices comply with applicable standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
Own and continuously improve the ERP and financial systems landscape to enable scale and accuracy.
2. Statutory & Financial Reporting
Lead the preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements for listed companies.
Monthly PnL & Balance Sheet base data to be shared internally with Business Finance Team.Ensure timely and accurate submissions to stock exchanges, board, and other regulatory bodies.
Liaise with company secretarial and compliance teams for disclosure management.
3. Audit & Compliance
Manage end-to-end statutory audits, internal audits, and limited reviews.
Act as the key point of contact for external and internal auditors.
Proactively address audit observations and ensure strong control mechanisms are in place.
4. Taxation
Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, reconciliations, and assessments.
Manage transfer pricing compliance and tax audit requirements.
Work with consultants/advisors to optimize tax strategy and mitigate risks.
5. Investor Relations (Financial Oversight)
Provide financial inputs for investor presentations, earnings calls, and board meetings.
Support responses to investor and analyst queries in coordination with business finance and communications teams.
Ensure consistent and compliant financial communication across all channels.
6. Funding & Treasury
Manage banking relationships, working capital lines, and debt compliance.
Support due diligence, lender/investor engagement, and capital raising initiatives.
Monitor cash flow, debt covenants, and funding requirements in coordination with the CFO & Business Finance.
7. Governance & Process Excellence
Ensure financial processes and controls align with best practices and governance standards applicable to listed companies.
Drive process improvement and automation in accounting, compliance, and reporting functions.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) âÃÂàmandatory. Additional qualifications like CPA, CMA,
or CS are a plus. - 10+ years of experience in corporate finance and accounting. Listed company
experience is a +.
Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in Ind AS, SEBI LODR compliance, Companies Act, and
taxation. - Demonstrated experience in managing audits, statutory reporting, investor interactions, and funding processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High standards of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism.
