Role and Responsibilities
- Candidate should have minimum 5 years of requisite experience in managing pools of capital or advising, in the fund, wealth, asset, portfolio management or in the business of buying, selling and dealing of securities or other financial assets.
- The candidate will be involved in sourcing, reviewing, screening the portfolio companies.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio, including tracking performance, risk assessment, and asset allocation.
- Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and industry trends to assess the risk and return profile of investments.
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses as and when needed.
- Stay updated on market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes that may impact the alternative investment landscape.
- Perform market research to identify potential investment trends and opportunities.
- Liaison with service providers for preparing investment reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
- Preferably - CFA/CS/MBA/Postgraduate/CA Inter.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
