Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasts.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement corrective actions and ensure financial targets are met.
- Assess the financial viability of new projects, initiatives, and investments.
- Conduct ROI analysis and provide recommendations for project prioritization and resource allocation.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and executive decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ensure the team's work aligns with organizational goals and deliver high-quality financial insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting.
- Leverage technology and tools to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
- CA / MBA (Finance). 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on the IT services industry.
Skills:
- Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of IT services industry trends, challenges, and key performance indicators.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA are advantageous.
- Need to be based out of Bangalore. It is a work-from-office role with some flexibility.
