CLIENT PROFILE
The client is a leading India-focused technology venture capital fund. The funds advised by them collectively have over $700 M under mgmt and 80+ companies across Consumer Media & Tech, Cloud/Software, Health-tech and Fin-tech.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring and recording of all fund-raise interaction.
- Actively support in preparing fundraise presentations and other marketing collateral.
- Actively support in organizing fundraise events.
- Actively support in managing distributor relationships.
- Actively update and maintain the LP CRM database so that it reflects the latest as well as historical communications with each LP.
- Preparing quarterly investor decks, with the support of data from Finance.
- Actively tracking LP commitments.
- Liaison with distributors for efficiently tracking commitments and resolving LP and distributor queries as applicable.
- Tracking of direct commitments.
- Update and maintain the latest contact data records of all LPs, including verification and updating for existing LPs.
- Continuously update and maintain their proprietary LP CRM as the single-point-of-truth for all LPs related data and communication.
- Wherever applicable, liaise with Finance for preparing periodic FO reporting decks.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Finance and Marketing.
- 2-4 Years of experience.
Skills:
- Good experience in Wealth management (in large banks).
- Experience in Sales would be an added advantage (ON sell side).
- Strong financial skills, especially on business plan preparation and fine-tuning.
- Experience in financial analysis and start-up valuation.
- Experience using tools used in the venture capital industry (databases, etc.).
- Prior experience in negotiating financial term-sheets.
Additional Notes
- Performing the role of an investment relations or relationship manager in wealth management companies / well known banks or VC experience is an add on.
