Role and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the elimination of transactions and balances
- Exposure to multi-currency elimination is a must
- Eliminating investments in subsidiaries
- Ensuring entities complete their submissions accurately and on time
- Dealing with any issues that arise during the month-end process
- Liaising with entities around the world to provide guidance and advice on technical accounting and Group policy requirements
- Producing local GAAP accounting records for subsidiary companies in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
- Acting as key contact for external auditors on quarterly and Year End audits
- Support Tax team on tax related issues
Qualifications:
- Qualified CA with at least four years post qualification experience
- Experience with a large and complex Ind AS / IFRS consolidation process
Skills:
- Ability to liaise across different entities / good interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver results through other team members while maintaining control and quality
- Close attention to detail where required
- Drive and enthusiasm to ensure team succeeds in achieving fixed and demanding deadlines
- Commitment and flexibility to work to tight and demanding deadlines
- Ind AS & other GAAPs
- P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow management
- Exposure to tax across multiple geographies will be an added advantage
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities in AP or AR functions
