CLIENT PROFILE

Our client manufacture modular floatation products for inland waterways and maritime infrastructure exploration. Their products Modular barges, SIFJ modules & concrete floating beams are utilized for applications ranging from pump pontoons, floating CNG stations, floating charging stations, floating resorts/restaurants, cargo transportation, floating solar grids, etc.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to define engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely procurement of construction materials and equipment.
  • Conduct cost analysis to optimize procurement processes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address any issues that may affect the quality and safety of the construction project.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets, providing input on cost estimates and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track project expenditures and report on budgetary performance regularly.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including engineering drawings, procurement records, and construction site reports.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering procurement and construction site management, with a minimum of [2-5 years] in a similar role.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
