CLIENT PROFILE

Our client manufacture modular floatation products for inland waterways and maritime infrastructure exploration. Their products Modular barges, SIFJ modules & concrete floating beams are utilized for applications ranging from pump pontoons, floating CNG stations, floating charging stations, floating resorts/restaurants, cargo transportation, floating solar grids, etc.

Role and Responsibilities
  • The role will include stability calculation, structural calculation & Anchoring calculation of floating structures such as modular barges, pontoon.
  • The role will also require carrying out the propulsion & resistance calculation along with identification of relevant equipment.
  • He/she will co-ordinate with draftsmen to complete all the CAD modeling and related technical drawings.
  • The role require preparation of design report for submission to class/client.
  • He/she may have to go on a site visit related to manufacturing and installation of structure and should be capable of resolving any technical issue.
  • He should be aware of the industrial standards related to the construction of floating structures.
  • To understand the challenges in the current product line up and solve them with prudent engineering practices.
Qualifications:
  • A degree (bachelor's or master's) in Naval Architecture, Marine engineering, and ocean engineering.
  • Industrial experience of 2-5 years in related domain (Job objective).
Skills:
  • A profound knowledge in steel structure design, hydrodynamics, dynamics of structure and related field.
  • Proficiency in modelling & analysis softwares such as Maxsurf, AVEVA, SACS, OrcaFlex, ANSYS Aqwa, Solidworks, AutoCAD will be bonus.
  • A handful knowledge or experience in construction of floating/marine structures & their accessories will be bonus.
