Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the supervision and guidance of the Accounting, Accounting Staff and Payroll.
- Ensure the accuracy and correctness of all charges and credits to the various accounts and that they are properly recorded on a timely basis.
- Plan & prepare schedules for expense accounts that may be required from time to time. Make sure that all Balance Sheet items are all accounted for and reconciled with their respective subsidiary Ledgers and/or Schedules and all Contra or Clearance accounts are cleared at the end of every month.
- Experience in executing PF processes, All ESIC Processes and arrangement for the office events, Budgeting, Preparing Monthly Accrual, Petty Cash Management and Insurance etc. Assist with preparation of Annual Budgets for effective management of the organization.
- Research the effects of any changes in Law or Government regulations, on the organizations accounting policies and procedures. Control and review the accounting processes of the organization.
- Represent the Finance Department in interactions with employees and external individuals & organizations.
Qualifications:
- The candidate should be a graduate and should be M.Com & CA I(nter)/MBA Finance.
- 5-7 years experience.
Skills:
- Able to identify and manage entire gamut of Housekeeping and other facilities maintenance.
- Responsible for Office Maintenance like AMC Handling (UPS, A/C, Electrical, fire extinguisher and any other rented or own machines etc.)
- Responsible for Interaction with diverse group of Vendors, Managing Yearly vendor evaluation, Purchase and Vendor Development including diary management of material receipts and payments.
- Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Accountable for all domestic and international transport and travel arrangements including Local transport, Air Ticketing, Hotel Bookings and Forex etc.
- Responsible for all security & fire safety arrangements including maintenance of Fire Fighting equipment, Access Attendance System and training on fire safety.
- Experience on Liaison with Shop Act office, labour office, PMC office, PCBW, Industries Department and any other government offices.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints.
Additional Notes
- Experience in MS-Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Good communication, Accounting and Financial Skills.
- Ability to work during flexible hours when required.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently managing exigency situations.
- Candidate must be proficient in software applications. Maintain control on budgets.
- Knowledge of administrative matters and statutory compliances, Liaison for various approvals.
- Pref. from an ex-service man background or a Retired Army Officer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good at negotiation and management skills ,ability to prioritize work and multitask.
- Staying within driving distance of 30-45 minutes from Marathahalli.
- Own Vehicle - 2 wheeler a must.
