CLIENT PROFILE
Our client is a wholly owned subsidiary of a MNC. They design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries applied to multiple use cases in the mobility and energy sectors, to match their customers' requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Accountable for the financial Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation process.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, reports, financial statements, and analyses in accordance with IndAS and other applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and regulations with respect to GST, Customs duty, and other indirect taxes.
- Support and ensure compliance to statutory audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems that support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, and relevant to decision making.
- Collaborate relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Support in designing the processes in financial accounting, reporting and consolidation in a new ERP development.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in finance and accounting.
Skills:
- GST, Customs duty, and other indirect taxes.
- IndAs.
- Support to statutory audits.
Additional Notes
- Experience in a high-growth, demanding environment preferred.
