CLIENT PROFILE

Our client is building the next generation of Iot connectivity management technology with their line of intelligent hardware, network access solution and modem management cloud. They bring to market a unique line of eSIM integrated smart IoT modules that are pre-loaded with local LTE, LPWAN, 5G network connectivity and can be managed at scale with their flagship connectivity management platform solution.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Compliance: Lead the team that owns the global bookkeeping process (accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, VAT) as well as the financial statement preparation and distribution to senior management, including but not limited to: consolidated income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements (US GAAP and Indian GAAP).
  • Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the board of investors and to the fiscal administrations.
  • Process and systems: Proactive design, development and implementation of the accounting processes, chart of accounts, to support the firm during the ERP design and implementation phase by interacting with the different business functions such as logistics and production
  • Business Partnering: Effectively connect with various groups throughout the organization (e.g. legal, FP&A, HR, etc) and build strong relationships with external auditors to address the needs of the Global Accounting function and support other functions
  • Audit: Play a key role in the external audit, statutory audits, quarterly reviews, and ongoing controls testing by preparing audit requests and working with the auditors to explain and document various transactions, business processes and internal controls.
  • Payroll: overview and manage the payroll provider relationship.
Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of progressive accounting-related work experience, including extensive experience with US GAAP accounting, Indian GAAP accounting and financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; masters degree or MBA a plus.

Additional Notes

  • Experience in working in a technology company with headquarters in the USA is preferred
  • Unwavering character and unquestionable personal and professional integrity.
  • Prior people management experience is required.
  • Comfortable in presenting in front of a large audience including senior leadership.
