Role and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the key liaison for clients on matters related to statutory filings, compliance, and financial statements, offering expert advice and support.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory forms and returns with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and other regulatory bodies, supervising a team of professionals in this process.
  • Stay updated on changes in the Companies Act, income tax provisions, GST laws, and other regulatory statutes, guiding both the team and clients on compliance requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and review of intricate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring adherence to established financial reporting standards.
  • Supervise the preparation and filing of income tax returns, overseeing compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns, and provide expert assistance in resolving related issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address legal and compliance issues concerning statutory filings and financial statements, offering strategic solutions and insights.
  • Ensure strict compliance with GST regulations, overseeing the timely filing of returns, reconciliation activities, and resolution of GST-related queries.
  • Provide accurate and reliable financial information to clients, proactively addressing inquiries and providing strategic financial advice as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and records related to statutory filings, compliance activities, and financial statements, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance operations function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, statutory filings, and financial statements preparation, preferably in a managerial role within a CA firm.
