Role and Responsibilities
Management and supervision of payroll & benefits compliance (No processing activity as its outsourced) Stay connected between HR Ops, centralized payroll and local payroll support to enable them to function seamlessly and to ensure overall execution is effective and timely Develop and evaluate opportunity areas to optimize existing processes and make overall employee experience valuable Stay up to date on regulations and changes, work through communication and possible impact on workforce at large at TI Quick turn-around along with constant connect with vendors, consultant to stay up to speed on updates Manage Travel & Entertainment compliance – travel insurance, forex card, corporate card, etc. (No processing activity as its outsourced) Timely compliance with statutory matters (PF, TDS, Professional Tax, etc.) and support to statutory audit Ensuring that all policies and procedures are implemented and well documented, performing occasional internal reviews, and identifying compliance problems that call for formal attention Prepare executive updates and provide strategic recommendations to leaders in India and AsiaManagement of Gratuity TrustSupport in timely compliances [timely investments, monthly contributions, filing of returns etc.,] Support in preparation of the financial accounts Gratuity Trust and statutory audit of trust Prepare executive updates and provide strategic recommendations to leaders in India and US Support in actuarial valuation Gratuity, interacting with the actuaries and TI global counterparts Manage third party vendors assisting TI Gratuity plan Stay up to date on regulations and portfolio management environment Liaison with other companies / consultants on regular basis
Qualifications:
Qualified Chartered Accountant  0 – 2 years’ work experience [preferably from Big 4 firm or MNC]  Basic knowledge of equity & bond markets – passionate about investments in general  Intermediate knowledge of accounting and taxation is expected  Good MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of SAP will be a plus  Interested in becoming a subject matter expert
