CLIENT PROFILE
Our Client was set up in late 2012 to be a go to team of multi-disciplinary professionals for all members of the early stage ecosystem. Their intent was to service the needs across all members of the ecosystem including investors (both institutional and angel) and founders (and their leadership teams).
Role and Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Present financial reports (MIS) to management for review.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare necessary
documentation and file tax returns such as GST, TDS, and Income tax on monthly/quarterly basis. - Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to management based on analysis findings.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing activities including salary calculations, tax deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships including invoicing, payments, and resolving discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 2+years of experience.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal
- Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
- Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
