CLIENT PROFILE
Our Client the newly-formed company of MNC, aims to become an end-to-end player in battery cell systems, with aspirations to cater to a variety of segments and tap a host of battery technologies as part of its long-term plan.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the financial Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation process, including indirect tax compliance.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, reports, financial statements, and analyses in accordance with IndAS, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and regulations with respect to GST, Customs duty, and other indirect taxes.
- Independently oversee statutory audits and its compliances.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems that support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, and relevant to decision making.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Design the processes in financial accounting, reporting and consolidation in an new ERP development.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.
- Minimum of 15 - 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5-10
years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- IndAS, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
- GST, Customs duty, and indirect taxes.
- Experience in a high-growth, demanding environment.
